Water pH Sensor
OVERVIEW
INCYT’s water pH sensor is the ideal sensor to keep track of the pH level of water in your tank or open body of water. Whether you want to make sure that your stock is drinking potable water or that the water you use for spraying your crops has the ideal pH level for the chemicals you’re applying, knowing the pH level of your water and whether it’s changing over time is often key. With INCYT’s pH sensor you now have an accurate way to monitor all your water sources and receive an alert when the pH level is either above or below a certain threshold. You no longer need to drive across your operation to manually check pH levels with inaccurate manual procedures, and can share this data with anyone you like through the INCYT cockpit.
HOW IT WORKS
INCYT’s water pH sensor utilises INCYT’s XR network, so you’re not restricted to only using this in areas where you’ve got a cellphone signal - as long as your water tank or dam is within reach of a INCYT base station, you’re able to use the pH sensor! The water pH sensor gets paired up with an INCYT blue node, giving you up to 8 (!) years of battery life!
The installation kit includes a pH sensor and blue node. In your water tank simply use or drill a hole that’s at least 30mm in diameter and insert, lower the sensor so that it is approximately 15cm from the bottom and at least 15cm from each side. Sensor can be secured in place with the p-clips and hardware that are supplied as part of this kit. The blue node is then installed on top of the tank and connected to the hydrostatic water level sensor. For open bodies of water you’re able to purchase the optional mounting bracket, or you can use your own. Just make sure the sensor is located more than 15cm away from the ground, and is free from any obstructions such as rocks or debris.
The water pH data is available to you through the INCYT cockpit, which allows you to share this data with other users on your INCYT account as well. You are able to see the current pH level as well as level changes over the past days and weeks. Alarms can be set for when the pH level is either above or below a pre-set min/max level. The reporting frequency of the water pH sensor is once every hour.
