In-Furrow Water Presence Detection for Flood Irrigation


This water presence sensor provides detection of water arrival at a known point in the field, enabling cotton growers to make timely cut-off decisions. Whether you’re running siphons or bankless systems, this solution ensures your irrigation events are efficient, repeatable and aligned with industry best practices.

 

When used on its own, it delivers a simple notification to your device within 15 minutes of water hitting the sensor (on Pro plan). When integrated with sensor-based inflow rates or advanced field monitoring systems, it contributes to a calculated recommended cut-off time for the current irrigation event, helping optimise water use and avoid avoid over-irrigation or constant field visits in the early hours of the morning to see if water is through.

NOTE: This product works with an INCYT Base Station. If you don’t already have one installed, you’ll need to add a Base Station to get started.
